Por meio de conferência virtual transmitida ao vivo pelo Youtube, a empresa Kombat Taekwondo anunciou neste sábado os nomes dos 16 lutadores que viajarão a Bogotá para a primeira noite de lutas.
São eles: Óscar Muñoz, Niyaz Pulatov, Talisca Reis, Rafaela Silva, William Findley, Junior Fraziel Pillarte, Luis Meléndez, Ghenadi Bitco, Nathalia Dinnis, Nitze Martín, Hadi Zreik, Jhonny Becerra, Ingrid Soto, Natalia Viella, Pablo Solano e Jhon Sebastián Cortes.
Segundo o CEO do Kombat Taekwondo, Rick Shin, inicialmente seriam lutas de apenas quatro estrelas. Porém, devido à grande procura de quem deseja assinar com a empresa, a noite foi dividida em dois eventos: quatro eventos principais e quatro lutas por convite, conhecidas como “evento curinga”.
Segundo Shin, o evento principal terá premiação em dinheiro, enquanto o evento wild card servirá como vitrine para potenciais lutadores mostrarem do que são feitos. Além disso, quem lutar nas lutas por convite ganhará automaticamente o direito de lutar no próximo evento, com data e local a definir.
O evento principal e as lutas por convite foram agendados da seguinte forma:
Evento principal
- Oscar Munoz (COL) vs. Niyaz Pulatov (UZB)
- Talisca Reis (BRA) vs. Rafaela Silva (POR)
- William Findley (USA) vs Junior Fraziel Pilarte (DOM)
- Luis Melendez (PUR) vs Ghenadi Bitco (ROM)
Evento Curinga
- Nathalia Dinnis (BRA) vs Nitze Martin (MEX)
- Hadi Zreik (LBN) vs Jhonny Becerra (VEN)
- Ingrid Soto (CHI) vs Natalia Viella (BRA)
- Pablo Solano (CRC) vs. Jhon Sebastián Cortés (COL)
Durante o processo de recrutamento, mais de 3.500 pessoas demonstraram interesse em se inscrever no Kombat Taekwondo, mas apenas 100 atenderam a todos os critérios da comissão julgadora.
Dos 100, esses 16 foram convidados para o evento repleto de estrelas no dia 3 de dezembro em Bogotá, Colômbia. Esta noite de lutas acontecerá no Royal Center.
O objetivo da organização é desenvolver eventos em todo o mundo e expandir seu grupo de lutadores para torná-los superestrelas do entretenimento global.

Through a virtual conference broadcast live on Youtube, the Kombat Taekwondo company announced this Saturday the names of the 16 fighters who will travel to Bogota for the first night of fights.

According to the CEO of Kombat Taekwondo, Rick Shin, initially there were only going to be four star fights. However, due to the high demand from people wanting to sign with the company, the evening was split into two events: four main events and four invitational fights, known as the “wild card event.
According to Shin, the main event will award cash prizes, while the wild card event will serve as a showcase for potential fighters to show what they are made of. In addition, those who fight in the invitational fights will automatically earn the right to fight in the next event, with the date and location to be determined.

During the recruitment process, more than 3,500 people showed interest in signing up for Kombat Taekwondo, but only 100 met all the criteria of the judging panel.
